Hello Portugal
Viana do Castelo is a tourist town without the tourists. We squeezed into a small uninviting marina and we were pleasantly surprised with this town. It was quiet and full of charm with cobblestone streets and historic buildings. In the old town the narrow streets were lined with boutique shops and restaurants and the whole city is overlooked by a large hill with a dramatic and imposing cathedral built on top. We climbed to the top of this cathedral for spectacular views.
