Sintra is a breathtaking hilltop resort town that is about 1 hour out of Lisbon. Amongst other attractions, there are two royal palaces, the remains of a 8th century Moorish castle and a private garden that isn’t unlike something you would find Indiana Jones in. We spent two and a half days exploring Sintra and could easily gone back for more. Such a beautiful place…
